Currently accepting new clients!

I’m a non-binary, second generation Taiwanese clinical social work masters student committed to supporting positive and liberatory transformation from the individual to societal level. I come from many years of experience in peer-support, community organizing, and mutual aid, driven by the vision/goal of creating a world where no one is exploited, devalued, or oppressed.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that mental health struggles are largely born out of environmental conditions. The current world we live in is an incredibly difficult environment. Anxieties, traumas, and daily struggles are often rooted own or our community’s experiences of violence, including war and occupation, class oppression, forced migration, racism, patriarchy, ableism, queerphobia, fatphobia, occupational, religious and educational oppression, and state repression. We internalize the impact of these systems, and they show up in our minds and bodies as perfectionism, insecurity, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues.

While our societal and individual problems can be scary and daunting to face, people  throughout history – including the LGTBTQ community–have been able to change and transform  lives or society as a whole. We all have a critical part to play in our own change, and we all have capacity to improve, transform, and find healing and liberation. But we can’t and don’t have to do it alone.

I strive to support clients to gain a deeper understanding of the root causes of their problems, build greater self-compassion, and clarify the necessary direction and methods towards healing. In helping people see their internal strength and what is truly within their power, I believe clients can grow into their own agency, and take active steps towards the change they want to see in themselves, their lives, or in society. I am drawn to a variety of methods, including body-based and experiential methods that honor the knowledge and trauma that the body can hold. I look forward to collaborating with you in cultivating this space for healing and transformation.
