Insurance FAQ’s
Does my insurance cover therapy?
Probably! If you have Premera insurance and are seeing one of the staff therapists, there’s a good chance your insurance will cover part (or all!) of your sessions.
If you have a different type of insurance, we would be happy to check your coverage for you and let you know what your out-of-network coverage may be and how much your out-of-pocket cost would be.
If I’m out-of-network, how much will therapy cost?
It depends! Everyone’s insurance coverage is different and we can check your insurance for you.
It’s common that many people have a deductible to meet before their out-of-network benefits are activated. We can give you an estimate of these costs.
What is a superbill and do you provide them?
Superbills are essentially a summary of the services provided during a therapy session including applicable medical codes that insurance companies use to determine possible coverage and reimbursement.
If we are out-of-network with your insurance, we will reach out to your insurance company for you, so no superbill needed! This is called courtesy billing and it’s to help make therapy as accessible as possible.
Do I need to have a diagnosis to use my insurance?
Unfortunately, yes. In order to bill any insurance, in-network or out-of-network, your therapist must give you a diagnosis. If you have questions about this, or do not want to receive a diagnosis, please feel free to contact us.
A good faith estimate of client costs is available upon scheduling or upon request.
