I’m a black, non-binary, and queer-identifying student intern therapist, committed to honoring lived experiences and creating a warmhearted environment for healing and growth. I believe in nurturing hope and moving away from the belief ‘what’s wrong with me’ and transitioning into a space where we make sense of what happened to you.
I ground myself in this work by carrying with me “the what and for whom” meaning I continuously interrogate why I’m present in this work, while uplifting queer identities, issues, and stories. I hold experience in child welfare, working with people with disabilities, aiding others in obtaining substance use recovery, and working with people in crisis.
I use they/them/theirs pronouns and respect all pronouns or no pronouns, come as you are.
